TMSL-54CR is a bundle product which includes a 2d universal bluetooth scanner and a multi-function usb cradle. The combination allows the scanner to work with a lot of devices even for those old PC without bluetooth feature. The latest bluetooth 5.0 feature and built-in 2500mAh battery enables the scanner less consumption, less charge and long lasting.

It can upload the data into notepad on windows, andriod, Mac OS and ios devices. However it might not be 100% compatible with square or vend which are required to use their own scanner.

How to pair the scanner with your bluetooth device:

 

  • Unplug the usb cradle into your PC
  • Scan "bluetooth keyboard" on the manual
  • Search the scanner in the bluetooth list and click to connect

The scanner is paired to the USB cradle by factory default setting.

How to pair the scanner with the cradle:

 

  • Plug the USB Cradle into the USB port of your PC or POS
  • Scan the address code on the cradle
  • Open a blank notepad or excel sheet, place the cursor in
  • Start to scan

You can select the bluetooth profile mode accroding to your software requirement.

 

  • Bluetooth SPP(serial port profile):

 

The scanner can upload the data to your serial software under this mode.

 

  • Bluetooth GATT(Generic Attribute Profile)

 

The scanner can upload the data to your serial software under this mode. GATT Service UUID needs to be filled while in connection.

 

  • Bluetooth HID

 

This is the default setting.

If the scanner is connected to your device via the usb cradle, you can upload the data to your serial software via usb virutal com port.

Our 2D barcode imager scanner features reading 2D and screen barcodes well.

Some barcode type may be disabled by factory default setting, please kindly enable it before scan. If your barcode is 1D long linear type over 4inches, you can consider our TMCT-10.
